Hi everyone,
We’re an Irish couple hoping to get married in Rome in late September or early October.
We’re planning a Catholic ceremony and already have a church in mind, along with an Irish priest to celebrate the wedding.
We’re now looking for recommendations for:
- Wedding venues for around 80 guests (including 10 children)
- Italian food with an Irish-style reception (welcome drinks, seated dinner, speeches, etc.)
- A venue that allows live music and dancing until at least 1am
- Accommodation nearby would be a bonus
- Any suppliers you would highly recommend (photographer, florist, transport, hair & makeup, etc.)
We’re also wondering if it’s realistic to organise a wedding in Rome without hiring a wedding planner, or if most couples find one essential.
Any recommendations, advice, or experiences would be hugely appreciated. Thank you!
