- abbiamo pianificato tutto in 1 anno.
I got married two weeks ago, and I wanted to leave a post to help anyone else who might need it.When I first posted here about organizing a wedding with two catering services, it seemed impossible, but we managed to pull it off, and I’d like to share some tips:
- We got married in Tuscany with a Nigerian-Italian fusion style.- We decided to hold both celebrations on the same day to save time and reduce stress.- Our venue gave us the space for the whole day—from 1:30 PM until midnight (or later, if we wanted). This was a lifesaver, allowing us to organize things better without the stress of a strict time limit.- We planned everything over the course of a year. You need time and patience, especially when integrating two cultures.- We found a traditional Italian caterer who agreed to our proposal to include a Nigerian food station.- It was a buffet setup with two separate stations, so guests could choose whatever they preferred.- Our timeline was: church ceremony in the morning, reception starting at 1:30 PM, and the traditional Nigerian ceremony beginning after the cake cutting; we managed to wrap everything up by 10:30 PM.
If you have any questions, I’d be happy to answer them, as I couldn't find much information on this when I was planning!
This site really helped me out, and I hope someone finds this post useful.
