Hi! I would suggest you to check around Lake Garda. It's very close to the airport of Milano Orio al Serio (more or less 30 min. by car/bus) and it's full of amazing locations.

I personally got married in Villa Avanzi in Polpenazze and we loved every inch of the villa and the gardens around it (+ the food, the organization,...)

But if you prefer places closer to the lake there are many other options. Should you need any help feel free to contact me.

First of all, congratulations for your engagement! We got married at Villa Foscarini Cornaro, north east of Italy, within easy reach from Venice. It has rooms for you to stay, great food and an amazing event planner!

If I were you I would have a look at at a venue near Garda’s lake!! Such a romantic place 😍

Thank you Francesca! Sicily looks gorgeous, but the North has some sentimental value for us being that we got engaged there this year. As for the Agency, it may indeed come to that. At the same time, doing our own research is exciting! ;-)

Hi Philipe, I’m a 2024’s bride too. I will marry in Sicily, Siracusa. I know you wrote for North Italy but know that Sicily is also very particular and characteristic. Brides come from all over the world. In any case, my advice is to hire an agency that does destination wedding in Italy.

If you are looking at something close to Lake Maggiore I can suggest Villa Repui! It’s where we are getting married!

If tou are open to Rome as well I can suggest couples of location
One is the place where I got married and is Casale500, is an old farmhouse from 1500Year and ia located in pomezia; another is Borgo di Tragliata that is a medieval village with also the possibility to sleep there, they have rooms and is located in Fiumicino

Hi Philippe, I live in Tuscany, in Mugello. Here we have many location with the caractheristics you described. I can suggest you Fattoria di Lavacchio for vineyards. And for beautiful place sourrounded of nature I suggest you PiancasaleMia or Fattoria il Lago.

I suggest Como or Garda Lake area 😉

are you planning for a religious wedding or civil union? I come from Rome but I married in a location at about 70km from the city that has room facilities (22 double rooms), a small church for a religious (catholic) wedding but it is also possible to celebrate a civil or a symbolic wedding in there. The location is close to a couple of lakes (Bracciano and Vico) that would offer a few options for organizing leisure activities for your guests. However, as said, this is in the Lazio region (center of Italy, not in the North), but you could combine your event with a visit to the Eternal City (or maybe even plan for your photographic shooting in the center of Rome; we did it for our first anniversary and it turned to be a smashing experience!).
